- Outdoor restroom facilities are available – located in the staff parking area on the side of the Welcome Center
- There will be no Chapel Services.
- The Business office will be available by phone, fax and e-mail only.
- Funeral Protocols:
- Attendance:
- 75 People (this includes clergy and the Funeral Director(s)) will be permitted to attend any burial or committal service. Please remind the families about social distancing.
- All funeral processions will be staged at the main entrance on Dedham Street.
- A Visitor Services staff member will be at the main entrance to greet you, collect paperwork and coordinate the process. If assistance is needed at the graveside, they will be available in their vehicle.
- Burial of the Casket:
- Visitor Services staff will lead the hearse, family members and any attendees to the graveside.
- The casket will be lowered, and the grave will be filled by hand by Sharon crew only.
- Family and attendees may view the burial of the casket, but MUST remain AT their vehicles. Anyone approaching the grave will be asked to return to their vehicle.
- Committal Service:
- After the burial ANYONE who will be out of their vehicle at the Committal Service MUST BE WEARING A MASK. If they DO NOT have a mask they MUST REMAIN IN A VEHICLE.
- Regrettably, we cannot accommodate requests for full-fills at this time in order to avoid personal proximity that may aide in the transmission of this disease. However, there will be a small pile of dirt left by the graveside. Paper cups will be provided for individuals to throw a small amount of dirt on the grave. The Funeral Director is welcome to bring a shovel.
- Tents may be provided in inclement weather when possible depending upon availability and conditions. In order to maintain social distancing, it is advisable to bring umbrellas for your families.
- Chairs will not be provided.
- Funerals will neither be posted on our website nor at the front entrance.
- Military Honors will be allowed.
- Fees:
- Regular weekday, weekend, and overtime fees only will apply. Please note service fee increase was effective as of February 1, 2021.
