DR. MITCHELL RIVITZ

Dr. Mitchell Rivitz of Brookline ,On June 11,2008, Chief of Intervention Radiology at The Newton-Wellesley Hospital passed away at The Massachusetts General Hospital on Wedenesday .He was 51 years old. Born in Philadelphia he graduated from Cornell University in 1978 and Thomas Jefferson Medical School in Philadelphia. Dr. Rivitz trained at The Massachusetts General Hospital .He was an avid Hockey player and participant in The New England Hockey League. He also coached youth soccer in Brookline . Dr. Rivitz is survived by his wife Dr. Betsy Drucker Rivitz MD , and two sons William age 12 and Benjamin age 10 and his sister Suzanne Rivitz of Arlington, MA. Services will be held at Congregation Or Atid 97 Concord Rd. Wayland on Monday June 16 at 11:00 am .Burial will follow in The Newton Cemetery.Memorial observance at his residence 122 Clark Rd. Brookline Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 7-9Pm. Remembrances to a charity of your choice
