DOLLY H. PALTER

PALTER- Dolly ( Hershman) , Born in Malden and formerly of Framingham and Dartmouth entered into rest in her 98th year on June 5, 2008. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and was the loving mother of Gloria Schwartz and husband Stanley of Boynton Beach, Florida; and Ronnie Glassman and her husband Norman of Dartmouth, MA, Cherished grandmother of Russell and Angela Schwartz, Robin and Ori Cohen, Jeffrey and Lori Glassman, and Barry and Caren Glassman, adored great-grandmother of eight. Loving sister of Freida Checkoway and the late Edward Hershman, Samuel Hershman, Frances Shapiro, Debbie Small, Mildred Bornstein, , and Sybil Zebrak. Funeral services to be held at Tifereth Israel Congregation, 145 Brownell Avenue, New Bedford, where she was a member, on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 12:00 Noon. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva to be observed only on Sunday following burial, due to the observance of the holiday of Shavuot at the home of Ronnie and Norman Glassman. The family will be in Dartmouth on Monday & Tuesday afternoon & evening, and in Boynton Beach, FL on Thursday & Friday.In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to The New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home, 200 Hawthorn St. New Bedford, MA 02740
