34, died suddenly on Monday, May 7, in Boston, MA. Born in New York City, he attended The Wellington School in Columbus, OH; Columbia College in New York, NY, and earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Alex was a founder and COO at Pfizer’s Centers for Therapeutic Innovation. Previously, he held commercial and strategy roles at MedImmune, in Gaithersburg, MD, and Genentech in San Francisco, CA. Alex is survived by his wife, Sara Green; son, Elliot Marcus Fayne; parents, Harriet and Henry Fayne; and brother, Zachary. A memorial service will take place at the Harvard Club, 374 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 1:30 p.m.
