Phyllis Silverman-Winn

Silverman-Winn, Phyllis (Caras), of Mashpee, MA, born January 27, 1938, died on January 20, 2014. Beloved wife of Irving Winn. Pre-deceased by former husband Robert Silverman. Daughter of the late George and Beatrice Caras of Swampscott. Mother of Lauri Silverman of Andover, Janet Silverman Gadol of Dallas, TX, and Charlotte Silverman of Falmouth. Beloved grandmother of seven.  Sister of Roberta Fishman of Weston, and Arthur Caras of Derry, NH. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Past president and lifetime member of Andover Hadassah.  She was an avid gardener, she loved to travel, but most of all, she loved her family. Services at Brezniak-Rodman Chapel (1251 Washington St., Newton, MA), on Wednesday, January, 22, 2014 at 1 pm. Following interment at Tifereth Anshi S’Fard Cemetery (Lawrence, MA), memorial observance will be at the home of Roberta and Bob Fishman until 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
