BASS, Jerome L., M.D. “Jerry” Of Chestnut Hill, on August 29, 2014. Beloved husband of Leah (Klatzko) Bass. Devoted father of Benjamin Bass of Providence, RI, and Carolyn Bass of Beacon Hill. Loving brother of Robert Bass, wife Diane, and nephew Jonathan of Philadelphia, PA. Services at the Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Rd., Newton Centre, on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Following burial at Newton Cemetery, memorial observance will be held at his late residence Tuesday until 7pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Joseph M. Smith Community Health Center designated in memory of Jerry Bass, 287 Western Avenue, Allston, MA 02134 or to the Jerry Bass Scholarship Fund at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center, 331 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139.
