Stanley S. Sawyer

of Newton, on September 5, 2014. Dear son of the late Morris and Lillian Schultz. Devoted father of Howard Sawyer and his wife Linda, Arnie Sawyer and his wife Yuri, and Betsy Gold and her husband David. Dear grandfather of Evan, Graham, Marika and her husband Matt, Sara, Hannah, Jesse, and Benjamin. Loving brother of Sydell and Ed Masterman. Formerly married to Sheila Feingold Sawyer. Services at Sharon Memorial Park, 43 Dedham St., Sharon, on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 12:45 pm. Stanley was known as “The Man of 1000 Voices” in Boston radio before going on to New York to become one of the premier television commercial voice over artists. He was also an avid painter and sculptor who created a number of busts, most notably of Martin Luther King, Jr. that are dedicated in parks in Harlem, NY and Rahway, NJ.
