Shirley (Willer) Gelda

a devoted NYC public school teacher, of Weston, formerly of Newton and Brooklyn, NY, died peacefully on June 6, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Emanuel Gelda. Devoted mother of Steven Gelda and his wife Linda, and Philip Gelda and his wife Denise. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth and Jennifer. Dear sister of Cynthia Levy and her husband Elliot, and Helene Jaffe and her husband Sandy.  Services at Star of David Memorial Chapels, 1240 Wellwood Ave., West Babylon, NY, Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1 pm. Interment in New Montefiore Cemetery. Memorial observance will be at the home of Steven and Linda Gelda on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7-9 pm.
