Abraham ” Al” Tabachnick

Abraham “Al” Tabachnick, beloved father, husband and brother, passed away on June 9, 2015, one day after his 69th Wedding Anniversary. Al had a full life as a businessman, ballroom dancer extraordinaire and prolific cartoon writer.  Many of his cartoons appeared in comic strips such as Parade Magazine, The Lockhorns, Hazel and Trudy. He was a dedicated family man who would do anything for his immediate and extended family. Al leaves behind his wife Belle, son Neal (Suzanne), daughter Debbie (Bane), late daughter Jane and his sister Elsie. Dear grandfather of Jared, Ava, Ethan, Rex and Lauren. Services at 10:00 am on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Temple Emeth, 194 Grove St.,Chestnut Hill. Following interment at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, Baker Street,West Roxbury, the family will receive visitors in the Occasion Room at at 210 Nahanton Street, Newton until 4:00 pm and Saturday evening at 210 Nahanton Street, apartment #322 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St.,Framingham, MA 01701.
