Age 80 of Boston, MA, December 14, 2015. Beloved mother of Lisa and her husband David Hartstein of Boston, MA and Pamela of Santa Fe, NM. Devoted grandmother of Tal, Ariel, and Ben, on whom she doted. Cherished daughter of the late Norman Weisman and Dorothy Lieberman. Predeceased by her loving husband, Berthold Wyler of Geneva, Switzerland, whose family members, especially Jonathan and Julie, she adored. Precious friend to countless people around the globe whose heartfelt memories are of great consolation to her family. Ginger was born in Dayton, Ohio, attended Fairview High School, spent her summers at Camp Wenonah in Maine, attended Smith College for three years, and graduated with her then-husband Donald from Brown University in 1957. In addition to raising two daughters, Ginger was a published poet, a dedicated volunteer and philanthropist, a world traveler, and a one-time resident of Jerusalem and Geneva. She loved to cook for her family, was an ardent Red Sox fan, an amateur genealogist, and a lifelong learner who was learning Mandarin from her acupuncturist at the age of 80. According to her wishes burial will be private. A memorial service will be announced in the spring.
