Robert Leonard Sawyer-Age 93, of Cambridge, on January 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Helen. Exemplary father to Jeffrey and Matthew, grandfather to Natalie, Andrew and Hannah, uncle to Ronnie, Warren, and Jody. Robert was a Bronze star veteran of WW11. Respected for his generosity, intelligence, warmth, resiliency and sense of humor. Graveside service at Lindwood Memorial Park, 490 North St., Randolph, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Memorial observance will be held at his residence, The Esplanade, 75 Cambridge Parkway, Cambridge,  Friday 1-4 pm and Saturday 6-9 pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the West End House, 105 Allston St., Allston, MA 02134.
