Following interment at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, memorial observance will be held in the function room at Hampton Place, 77 Florence St., Newton until 9 pm, continuing Monday and Tuesday 4-6 pm and 7-9 pm. Alan served as an MP in General Patton’s Army and because of his fluency in Yiddish was asked to be one of the first to liberate the Dachau concentration camp.
