Edward Ring Knopping

Edward Ring Knopping-of Rehoboth Beach,DE,formerly of Wayland,MA,passed away at home in his sleep on Thanksgiving.Born on July 17,1960 in Boston, MA, Edward was the beloved son of Sharon Knopping of Lewes, DE and Aaron Knopping of Delray Beach, FL.Edward is also survived by his sister,Susan Knopping,of Basking Ridge, NJ,his brother,Jeffrey Knopping,of Larchmont,NY,his niece,Rachel Talbert,and nephews,Gregory Knopping,Ross Talbert and Jacob Knopping.Edward’s greatest passion was his role as a teacher to many of our youth.Edward received his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Education from Wheelock College in Boston,MA.Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park,40 Dedham St.,Sharon,MA, on Monday,Dec.5,2016 at 11:45 am.The family will observe shiva on Monday and Tuesday from 6:30-9:00 pm at the home of Edward’s brother,Jeffrey ,26 Oak Avenue,Larchmont,NY.In lieu of flowers donations in Edward’s memory may be made to AMFAR,120 Wall St.,13th floor,New York, NY 10005. www.amfar.org.
