Don V. Hellerman, M.D.

Don Vincent Hellerman, M.D. died on December 4, 2016 in Washington, DC. A native of Brookline, MA and WWII Marine Corps combat veteran, he later served as a Lt. Col. in the USAR medical corps. He spent the bulk of his career at South Chicago Community Hospital as head of Pathology and Laboratories. Husband for 50 years of Susan (Talent) Hellerman, father of Brett (Coleen) and John (Stephanie), and grandfather of Klee, Julianna, Alissa, Jack and Mark. Brother of the late Joyce and Marshall Marcus.  Uncle of Debra Marcus Haluska and the late Lloyd Marcus. Services in the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Following the service, memorial observance will be at the home of Marty and Amy Heller until 9:00 pm.
