Harriet (Bloom) Hershon

Of Framingham, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, after a valiant struggle with lung cancer.   Beloved wife for 44 years of the late Marvin S. “Mickey” Hershon and the loving mother of Frederic Hershon (Debra). Cherished grandmother of  Rachael and Benee. Dear sister of Eleanor (Bloom) Milione (Nick), and the late Harold Bloom (Gloria).  Harriet is survived by devoted sister-in-law, Lenore Cagan, brother-in-law Donald Hershon (Natalie), and her closest  cousins, Edward Bloom, Irvin Rich, Philip Waldman, Dottie Beckoff and Robert Bloom, and many cherished nieces and nephews.  Graveside service at Roxbury Mutual Cemetery, Corner of Central Street and D Street, Woburn, on Monday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. Shiva will be private.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Greater Boston Food Bank and the American Cancer Society.
