Roberta Brown Karlin of Wellesley, Massachusetts, passed away on September 20, 2017.
Upon being graduated from New York University, she worked as a Speech Therapist at Erasmus Hall Academy. After raising her children, she became Public Relations director of a well-known art gallery in New Jersey for 12 years. For the following 12 years, she ran her husband’s medical practice.
Both Mrs. Karlin and her husband, Dr. Joseph Karlin, were fortunate to retire together and spend the following years traveling and enjoying their grandchildren.
Mrs. Karlin is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Joseph Karlin, their two daughters, Susan Karlin and Linda Karlin Webb, son-in-law Peter Webb, and grandchildren Alex and Rebecca.
She was always fun.

Services will be at the Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Road, Newton Centre on Sunday, September 24, at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Lindwood Memorial Park, Temple Emanuel of Newton section, 490 North Street, Randolph.
Shiva visiting hours will take place at the home of Linda and Peter Webb, 72 Homer Street, Newton.
• Sunday, September 24—12:30 to 5:00 pm
• Monday through Wednesday, September 25, 26, 27—5:00 to 8:00 pm, with services at 7:30 pm
A memorial gathering at Waterstone at Wellesley will be arranged in the coming weeks.
