lifelong resident of Waltham, on March 19, 2018. Beloved husband of 66 years to Toby “Thelma” (Katz) Kennen. Devoted father of Anita Kennen of Waltham, Robert and his wife Elaine Kennen of Waltham, Alan and his wife Gelene Kennen of Tewksbury, and Jeffrey and his wife Laurie Kennen of Newton. Cherished grandfather of Lisa McCarthy, Michael, Brian, Aaron, and Aliana Kennen and great-grandfather of Connor McCarthy. Dear brother of the late Abraham and Bernard Kennen. Graveside services at Beth Israel Memorial Park, 190 South St., Waltham, Friday, March 23, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Memorial observance immediately following the service at Temple Beth Israel, 25 Harvard St., Waltham and at the home of Robert and Elaine Kennen on Sunday 1-4 pm. Late WWII Army Veteran, faithful employee of the United States Postal Service, and member of the Mt. Tabor Lodge of Masons.
