Annette Lee (Brounstein) Lieberman

LIEBERMAN, Annette Lee (Brounstein) Formerly of Amherst, MA, Newton, MA and Sunapee, NH, passed away June 20, 2021. Annette was devoted to her family and friends, to teaching children, and to teaching future teachers of children. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934, she was an alumna of Brooklyn College and ABD from UMass Amherst; most recently she served as Teacher Certification Officer and Director of Field Placement for UMass Boston. Annette was a devoted wife of 65 years to her late husband Alan; mother to Joshua (Marcia Okun), Amy (late James Dasch), and Elizabeth (David Greif); grandmother to Andrew, Sam, Peter, Amalia, Michal and Aryeh. Funeral Services followed by Interment will be held Thursday, June 24, 1:00 pm at Beit Olam East Cemetery, 42 Concord Road, Wayland, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to the Children’s Literacy Initiative, or a charity of one’s choice. Annette will be missed by her many friends and family members who remember her devotion to child education and how she savored the beauty and serenity of Lake Sunapee.
