Israel Michaeli

Israel Michaeli, 81, of Wayland, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Carolyn Michaeli. Loving father of Daniel and his wife Laura and Jonathan and his wife Elizabeth.  Proud grandfather of Aviva, Shira, and Riley, Evan, Drew and Lily.

Born in Jerusalem and having served in the Israeli army, Israel immigrated to the U.S. and moved to New York shortly after meeting and falling in love with his future wife Carolyn. Israel received his bachelor’s degree from Pace University and MBA from City College of New York, after which he worked with his father-in-law to run and eventually sell a family manufacturing business. Israel’s hobbies and passions included travel, nature, photography, spending time with family, and attending biblical and spiritual seminars.

Services will be held at Temple Israel of Natick, 145 Hartford St., Natick, MA on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery, 40 Windsor and 39 Fairview Avenues, Natick. Donations in Israel’s memory may be made to the cancer charity of your choice or Temple Israel of Natick.
