Dorothy Faberman

Dorothy (Dottie) Faberman passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 3, 2025.  Born in Boston, MA, she grew up in North Conway, NH until age 7, when the family moved to Brookline, MA.  She graduated from Brookline High School and from Boston University with a degree in Psychology.  She was a stay-at-home Mom to her three children and a devoted wife to her husband, Matthew, for 20 years until he passed away in 1985.  She then ran the family printing business for over 20 years until retirement.

Dottie was a devoted member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Leominster, MA, serving as Sisterhood President.  She was known for her love of reading, crossword puzzles, Mah Jongg, and cooking. Her sense of humor complemented her unique ability to make lasting friendships wherever she went.

Dottie was predeceased by her husband Matthew and son Stephen Faberman (2022).  She is survived by her children Robert Faberman and Judy Faberman, daughters-in-law Brenda Faberman and Wendy Faberman, and son-in-law Michael White.  She is also survived by grandchildren Hannah Faberman, Matthew Faberman, Rachel Faberman, Allyson Faberman, and Maris White.

Funeral arrangements:

Funeral services will be held at Temple Israel, 125 Pond St, Sharon, MA on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Interment immediately following at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA

Shiva will be held at the home of Robert and Brenda Faberman:

Wednesday March 5, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Thursday March 6, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
