Gladys Green

Gladys Green (Horne), 91, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Gladys spent her formative years in Newton, Massachusetts, the daughter of Doris and Elmer Horne. She graduated from Endicott Junior College in Beverly, MA.

She raised her family in Needham, Massachusetts and eventually settled in Boca Raton, Florida.

She was the loving mother to Elise J. Gunzburg of Rockville Center, New York.  Grandmother to Adam M. Gunzburg of Amityville, New York.  Sister to Cynthia R. Horne of Boston, MA, who was her best friend and caretaker later in life.

Private services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
