Slavet, Sidney of Delray Beach FL, formerly of Mattapan, suddenly on Jan. 31, 2008. Beloved husband of Bernice (Bornstein) Slavet, devoted father of Miki Blank and her husband Stephen of Canton, Ronnie Norman and her husband Michael of Newton, dear grandfather of Brian and his wife Amara Norman of Portland OR., Melissa Norman, Joshua Blank and Jay Norman and great grandfather of Jared and Jordan Norman. Loving brother of the late Ralph Slavet, Murray Slavet and Sylvia Cohen Buxenbaum. Services at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St., Brookline on Tuesday Feb. 5 at 11 am. Memorial observance will be at the home of Miki and Stephen Blank on Tues. and continuing on Wed 1-4, 6-9 pm. Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
