Lapin-Shirley Rose (Shapiro), of Palm Beach, Florida, and Newton, MA, on November 8, 2013. Beloved wife of Norman Lapin. Dear daughter of the late Bella (Feller) and Simon Shapiro. Loving mother of Gail Fox and her husband James B. of Newton, and Nancy Landau and her husband Michael of Newton. Adored grandmother of Lindsay Sklar and her husband Adam, Alyssa, and Chelsea Landau. Loving sister of the late Freda Intriligator, Ethel Young, and Daniel R. Shapiro. Shirley is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park (120 Canton St., Sharon, MA), on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 11:45 am. Following interment, memorial observance will be at the home of Gail and James Fox until 8 pm and will continue Monday, 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Brigham & Women’s Hospital, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA 02215.
