Chester, Selma L. (Cohen) in her 100th year, of Needham, on Jan. 15, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Edward Chester. Devoted mother of Larry Chester & Alice Schwartz. Dear grandmother of Harold Chester, Eric & Janet Schwartz, Jeff & Leigh Schwartz, Loving great grandmother of Isabel, Maddy, & Jack Schwartz, Lanie, Will, Meg, & Tom Schwartz. Services at the Chevra Kadusha of Boston Cemetery, “D St.”, off 11 Washington St., Woburn, on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 2pm. Following services a Memorial observance will be held at the home of Alice Schwartz, until 9 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers remembrances in her memory may be made to Simmons College, 300 Fenway, Boston, MA 02115 or a charity of your choice.
