Ruth V. Zuker

Zuker-Ruth V. (Kahn) of Delray Beach, Fl and Chestnut Hill, on January 1, 2013. Beloved wife of Alan G. Zuker for 66 years. Devoted mother of Edward Zuker and his wife Judi, Debrah Gladstone and her husband Mark, Sandra Taylor, Harry Zuker and his wife Tamra and the late Michael Zuker and his surviving wife Susan. Dear mother in law of the late Linda Zuker. Beloved grandmother of Danyel Rodgers and her husband Chris, Stephen Gladstone and his wife Melissa, Abigail Goodman and her husband Marc, Robert Zuker and his wife Molly, Matthew Zuker and his wife Andrea, Lauren Siff and her husband Eden, Alison Benton and her husband Ian, Jonathan Zuker and his wife Abbie, Shira Gladstone, Franklin Ross, Robert Taylor, Lisa Taylor, Samuel Zuker, and Andrew Zuker. Also survived by twenty great grandchildren. Loving sister of Marcia Merlin and her husband Paul, Bernice Chefitz and her husband Mel, the late Leonard Kahn and his surviving wife Pearl, Selma Freed and her husband Leonard, Natly Gordon and her late husband Edward, the late Allen Kahn and his surviving wife Polly, Joan Berenson and her late husband Sumner, and the late Roberta Zuker. Ruth was an active member of the Jewish community, teaching all who knew her by example how to live a loving, compassionate, generous, gracious and dignified life. Her legacy lives on in all who loved her. Services at Temple Beth Am, 871 N. Main St. Randolph, on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Following interment at the Beth El Cemetery, Baker St., West Roxbury, memorial observance will be held at the Community Room of Hampton Place, 77 Florence St., Newton, until 4:00 pm, continuing on Saturday evening 6-8 pm, Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 pm, and will continue at the home of Debrah and Mark Gladstone, Monday and Tuesday 1-3 and 6-8 pm and Wednesday 1-3 pm.
