Peggy (Gerber) Shapiro

of Chestnut Hill, on October 10, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Sidney Shapiro. Devoted mother of Ellen Shapiro and her husband Michael Bloomberg, Joan Sloan and her husband Saul, Carol Noymer and her husband Michael, and Rose Shapiro and her husband Stephen Tankel. Also survived by her loving grandchildren, Jonathan, Tali, and Michael Shapiro, Daniel Sloan and his wife Rachel, and David Sloan, Alexandra and Sydney Noymer, and Jake and Charli Tankel. Dear sister of the late Buddy Gerber and Shirley Sadler. Services at Crawford Street Memorial Park, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, Friday, October 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Memorial observance will be held Saturday evening 7-9 PM at the home of Carol and Michael Noymer.
