Myra Haffer

Haffer-Myra (Krinsky), of Boca Raton, FL, and Dennisport, formerly of Sharon, at age 84, on November 9, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Jason B. Haffer.  Devoted mother of Rondi and Barry Sherman, Howard Haffer, and Ila and the late Eric Shebar. Dear grandmother of Stephanie and Andrew Dyer, Craig and Srey Sherman, Heidi Haffer, Alexander Shebar, Bryan Shebar, and Colin Shebar. Doting great-grandmother of Brandon and Jessica Dyer. Loving sister of Lou Krinsky, Julian Krane, Charlotte Freedman and the late Dorothy Ossen. Myra was a long-time employee of Sharon Credit Union and CVS. She always found happiness surrounded by family at her homes in Florida and Dennisport.  Services at Temple Israel of Sharon (125 Pond St., Sharon, MA), on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10:00 am. Following interment at Sharon Memorial Park (120 Canton St., Sharon, MA), memorial observance will be at the home of Rondi and Barry Sherman until 9:00 pm, and will continue Wed and Thurs, 1-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, PO Box 97151, Washington, DC 20090, or the Healthy Villi, PO Box 600066, Newton, MA 02460.
