Sherr-Mildred “Millie” (Katz), died peacefully on Monday, October 25th at the Ridgewood Center, Bedford, NH. Born, November 24, 1923 at the Notre Dame Hospital in Manchester, NH to Israel and Lena Katz. Formerly of Dorchester and Canton , MA and West Palm Beach,FL and more recently Manchester,NH for the past 6 years. She was a current resident of The Ridgewood Center in Bedford,NH. Millie was pre-deceased by her husband of 59 years, Charles Sherr. Survived by her loving family, Daughter,Jane Purcell, Son-in law,Robert Purcell, grandchildren Evan and Cori Purcell of Amherst, NH;son Paul Sherr, daughter in law,Susan Sherr; grandchildren, Benjamin,Leah and Sarah Sherr of Bedford,NH. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice. Services will be private.
