Jill Meredith (Weiner) Bernstein

Age 50, of Wellesley, MA, on Monday, June 17, 2013. Born in Landstuhl, Germany while her father served in the Army, Jill was raised on Cape Cod, graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School (class of 1980), earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. She settled with her family in Wellesley 18 years ago. She leaves behind her loving husband of 22 years, Jonathan K. Bernstein, and her beloved children Emily Paige Bernstein and Aaron Lev Bernstein, her mother Eve Janice Goldberg (nee Moody) of Dennis, MA, her sister Debra L. Shepherd and her husband Daniel Q. of Lima, Peru, her aunt Annabel Brennan, uncle Carl Moody, father-in-law Dr. Arthur M. Bernstein, several cousins, and cherished sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by both her father, Arthur L. Weiner and step-father, Herbert D. Goldberg. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton St., Sharon. The family is accepting condolences at their home, 12 Maurice Rd., Wellesley, on Thursday after the burial until 8:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Additionally, there will be a minyan service on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill’s memory may be made to the Susan F.
