Jean Krintzman

Jean (Cohen) Krintzman WORCESTER – Jean (Cohen) Krintzman, 99, died on Thursday, January 31st in San Diego after a short illness. Her husband of 56 years, Abraham Krintzman died in 1995. She leaves a son, Steven Krintzman and his wife Nancy of Hyannisport; a daughter, Barbara wife of Dr. Gene Appel of LaJolla, CA; five grandchildren and five great – grand-children. She was predeceased by her brother, Sam Cohen and by her three sisters, Evelyn Grace, Pearl Levy and Sophie Chesner. She was born in Rockland, Maine, a daughter of Lipman and Sarah (Levy) Cohen and had lived in Worcester for over 60 years before moving to San Diego 17 years ago. She had been a long time member of Beth Israel Synagogue and had been a long time volunteer in Dr. Brem’s Pediatric Practice, at Memorial Hospital and at the Worcester Foundation for Experiemental Biology in Shrewsbury. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2 PM ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD in BETH ISRAEL SYNAGOGUE ON JAMESBURY DRIVE IN WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF BREZNIAK RODMAN FUNERAL HOME OF NEWTON. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial Observance will be held at The Jewish Health-care Center at 629 Salisbury St., Worcester on Sunday Afternoon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester 01609.
