Janet will forever be remembered by her loving stepchildren, Laura and her husband Mark, Dan and his wife Sheryl, Emily and her husband Eric, and David, along with her seven grandchildren, Sam, Jenny, Anjolie, Melissa, Rachel, Matty and Rebecca, her niece Haidan Hodgson, and the many other friends and relatives who were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 17, at 2PM at the Newton Cemetery Chapel (791 Walnut Street, Newton Center) and a gathering afterwards at the Newton Marriott Hotel (2345 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton) from 3:30 to 6PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s name to the Seasons Hospice Foundation (6400 Shafer Court, Suite 700, Rosemont, IL 60018) or the Mark H. Berman Endowed Scholarship Fund at Carleton College (One North College Street, Northfield, MN 55057).
