Goody Melhado

“Goody” (Goldstein) Melhado WORCESTER- “Goody” (Goldstein) Melhado, 87, of 475 Chandler St. died on Monday, August 12th in Phoenix, Arizona after an illness. Her husband of many years, Leon Melhado, died in 1994. She leaves a son, Marc Goldstein and his wife Debbie of Phoenix and a granddaughter, Aliya Melhado of Phoenix. She was predeceased by her son David S. Melhado in 2010 and by her brother, Maxwell Goldstein and her two sisters, Anne Jonas and Irene Rosenfield. She was born in Worcester and was a daughter of Morris and Bessie (Rudman) Goldstein and lived here all her life before moving to be in Phoenix this year. She was the office manager of Harding Glass Co. for many years. She was a member of Temple Emanuel and its Sisterhood. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 NOON ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 18TH at TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI,661 SALISBURY ST. ,UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF BREZNIAK RODMAN CHAPELS OF NEWTON. Burial will be  in B’Nai Brith Cemetery. Memorial Observance will be held through Sunday Afternoon, August 18th at Temple Emanuel Sinai,  661 Salisbury St. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
