Celia (Buckman) Bornstein, 104 years young, of Dedham, formally Randolph, November 23, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Morris Bornstein for 49 years. Dear mother of Joan Astor and Ann and Harvey Levensohn. Awesome grandmother of Scott and Linda Astor, Dr. Todd Astor and Annalisa VanKirk, Adam and Laura Levensohn, and Melissa and Dennis Feist. Amazing great-grandmother to Mikayla, Jonathan and Benjamin Astor, Zachary and Noah Feist and Brady and Brett Levensohn.

Graveside service on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 10:00 am at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, MA. Following interment shiva will be held at NewBridge on the Charles Health Center Conservatory until 3:00 pm, continuing at the home of Joan Astor 7-9 pm and on Tuesday 2-5  & 6-8 pm. Leonard “Lenny” Kaster

Kaster, Leonard “Lenny”, of Millis, MA, entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2019. Lenny was born on November 10, 1931 to the late David and Golda (Fegelman) Kaster. Beloved husband of the late Ronnie Lynne (Freedman) Kaster for 59 years. Devoted father of David Kaster and his wife Myra Lee, Dr. Bruce Kaster and his wife Madelon, and RobinSue DeSimone and her husband Gino. Lenny had the blessing of being grandfather to 8, and more recently 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside service at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 9:45 am. Memorial observance will be at Lenny’s late residence until 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lenny’s memory may be made to Congregation B’Nai Tikva, 1301 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.

Following interment at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 350 Grove St., West Roxbury,  memorial observance will be held at his residence, 55 Leland Rd., Chestnut Hill until 7:00 pm, and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Pauline Mann

Pauline Mann, 94,

of Belmont, MA, formerly of Sunrise, FL and Queens, NY, died on November 18th from progressively failing health. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Isidore Mann, her parents Solomon and Mary Cohen, and her siblings Sam, Rebecca and David. Pauline is survived by her children Gail Mann (Steve Klionsky) and Barry Mann (Marianne), three grandchildren, Sarah Klionsky (Nick Nelson), Daniel Klionsky (Meredith) and Alison Mann, and three great grandchildren, Max and Lila Nelson and Phillip Klionsky, and [many] nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park in Mt. Sinai, NY.

Helen M. Aronson

November 15, 2019

Helen M. Aronson, 84, of Worcester, MA, formerly of Grafton and Westborough, died on November 14th after a period of failing health. She was predeceased by her parents, Emmanuel and Dorothy Aronson, and her sister, Rose Rodenstein. Helen is survived by her nephews, Lawrence, Morris and Alan Rodenstein, and her niece, Andrea Spandau. Helen was a teacher in the Grafton school system for many years. After her retirement, she was a familiar face at the Grafton Senior Center. Helen loved animals, especially her pugs, and was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 18th at 2 PM at the Beth El Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.

MAX S. BERGER, 94, of Framingham, formerly of Natick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor Berger. Devoted father of Philip Berger and his girlfriend Karin Gremo and the late Judi Berger and Joel Berger. Proud grandfather of Jenna Story and her husband Pat, Matthew Fahey and his girlfriend Lilly Marston, JaimeAnn Higgins and her husband Brian. Great grandfather of Ava Lynn Higgins, Conor and McKenna Story. Uncle of Lisa Barker and her husband Michael Barker. Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St., Sharon), on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:45 a.m. Following services, a memorial observance will be at the home of Lisa and Michael Barker. Neal “Bagels” Bocian, 69, of Brooklyn, New York, resided in Chestnut Hill and Ipswich, succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family on November 11, 2019.

Husband of Lori Wolf, father of Craig and Erica, brother of Arthur and Uncle to Russel. Step father to Erik and Alex Wolf, and Papa Neal to grandkids Julian, Zachary, Gabriela, and Natalie.

Advertising guru, business owner, avid golfer, member of The Ancient and Honorable Society, harmonica player, Words with Friends fanatic, trivia aficionado, law and order enthusiasts, was the fifth season of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, bagels the clown, performer at Boston Children’s Floating Hospital for the last 28 years, and handball champion of the world. Passionate man with a big heart who loved life and gave it his all.

Service at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward St., Newton, MA on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will be private. Memorial observance will be at the Newton Marriott, 2345 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, MA following the service until 4:30 pm. Shiva observance will continue at the home of Lori Wolf on Wednesday and Thursday 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Neal’s memory may be made to the Floating Hospital for Children, Pediatric Cancer Center, 800 Washington St., Boston, MA 02111.

Devoted mother of Susan Murphy and her husband Tom, George Bloom and his wife Margot, and Peter Bloom. Proud grandmother of Sean & Karen Murphy and Samantha, Jessica, and Jennifer Bloom. Loving sister of John Levenson. Phyllis was a hospital volunteer for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, classical music, cooking & gardening.
