Waldman- Adele (Klemens), of Canton, formerly of Sharon, North Easton and Phoenix, AZ, on December 25, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jason J. Waldman. Devoted mother of Carol Matula (Richard), Betsy Amira (Donald), and Howard Waldman. Dear grandmother of Brian Matula, Lauren McNamara (John), Daniel Amira (Yelena), Jacob Waldman, Benjamin Waldman, and Sarah Waldman. Great-grandmother of Connor McNamara. Loving sister of Helen Fine and Michael Klemens. Services at Temple Israel, 125 Pond St., Sharon, on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10:00 am. Following interment at North Russell St. Cemetery, Fuller St., Everett, memorial observance will be at her residence, 237 Del Pond Drive, Canton, until 8 pm, and on Tuesday 12-4 & 6-8 pm. Diane T. Steinberg

December 25, 2015

Passed away on December 24, 2015 at age 74. She was born in Cambridge, MA to parents Bernard G. and Dorothy V. Fritz and grew up in the town of Winthrop. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and was Cum Laude at the School of Fine and Applied Arts Boston University, studied at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts for eight years, and attended graduate courses at Lesley College. During college, Diane taught drivers education courses at Andrews Auto School in South Boston. In addition she was lead performer and producer of a children’s radio show called “the Play Room” on WBUR FM. After college, she was the host of Romper Room and performed in various cities. Diane enjoyed teaching for more than 40 years. She was an art teacher in New Milford, CT and Carmel, NY Public Schools adult education program, an aid to special education students, an art teacher for various summer programs and at Temple Shalom. In between these occupations, she also was a substitute teacher in the public school system. Diane was vibrant, had numerous friends, and loved to experience historical, science, and artistic activities.  Diane was married for 42 years and predeceased by her husband, Ken in 2014. She is survived by: her son Scott Steinberg, daughter-in-law Jessica and granddaughter Danielle; son Steve Steinberg, daughter-in-law Marci, and grandchildren Leah& Benjamin; son James Steinberg and daughter-in-law Sari; her brother Robert Fritz and sister-in-law Rosalind, nephew Ivan and Jen Fritz; niece Eve Fritz; sister-in-law Judith Peel; niece Michelle Fuhrman; and nephew Thomas Peel, his wife Nancy and their children Debra, Jen, and Michael. Services in the chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA, on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to National Stroke Association, 9707 E. Miriam Joan Watstein

December 22, 2015

age 59, passed away on Dec. 22, 2015, in Lexington, MA.

Miriam was born in Torrington, Conn, the daughter of Atty. Herbert Watstein (deceased, formerly of New Haven, CT, law practice in Bristol, CT), and Esther Bufferd Watstein (Stratford, CT). She was a graduate of Northfield School for Girls, Northfield, MA, and of New York University.

Miriam was an artist. She worked as a lighting technician at the Bottom Line Club and as a production assistant at CBS both in New York City. Married to John Caporal of Norwich, NY, she lived in Lexington, MA, and worked at WGBH as a production assistant and for various films and television shows filmed in the Boston area. She was active at the Boston Ballet in backstage work and taught in Boston area schools introducing school children to the world of ballet.

She taught art at various museums in the Lexington area and was an active participant in social media, specifically, The Fancy. She was devoted to her dogs, Metro and Star.

Besides her mother, and former husband, she is survived by her children; U. S. Navy Electronics Technician Second Class Samuel Caporal, Bremerton, WA; Coco Caporal, Los Angeles, CA; and Jack Caporal, Washington, D.C.

She is also survived by her sisters; Sarah Watstein, Wilmington, NC and Rachel Watstein, New York City.
