Devoted mother of Michele Davis and her husband Jeff, Joanne Franklyn Brown and her life partner Kevin Peetz, Jill Franklyn and her wife Carolyn Kaliski, and Jay Franklyn. Cherished grandmother of Joshua Franklyn Brown. Loving sister of Leonard Sack and his wife Toby and the late Alan Sack and his surviving wife Vicky Sack. Services at Temple Israel, 145 Hartford Street, Natick, on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 12 Noon. Following the interment at Baker Street, West Roxbury, memorial observance will be at her late residence thru Wednesday evening. Remembrances may be made to the Judy Gordon Nursery School, C/O Temple Israel, Natick. Barbara was the former Director of Temple Israel Nursery School, where she was loved and adored.
