Ezra James Federman

Ezra James Federman passed away peacefully at Boston Children’s Hospital on March 6, 2018 in Boston, MA at the age of 15 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.

Ezra is survived by his mother Christie Burke and stepfather Edmund Burke of Attleboro, MA, grandmother Edith Pemberton of Marshfield, MA, and uncle James Pemberton of Quincy, MA.

Ezra was born on July 25, 2002 in Brooklyn, NY. An outstanding student, he was preparing for application to several colleges for early admission. He had recently completed the Leader-in-Training program at North Woods Camp in Mirror Lake, NH, and intended to attend the Counselor-in-Training program later this year. Ezra was dedicated to the art of Krav Maga and studied at Krav Maga Yashir in Boston. Known in the online gaming community as “Shevron,” Ezra competed in several different games, attaining high world ranking in several and was considering a move to professional status. Ezra loved animals and asked that in lieu of flowers or cards, a donation to your local animal shelter be made in his name.
