Agnes Schwartz

Agnes Schwartz, of Wellesley, on March 7, 2013. Dear sister of the late  Boston attorney  Frederic G. Corneel and his surviving wife Martha “Marty” Corneel. Cherished aunt of Anne Corneel Guerra, Katy Corneel Stromland and the late Adam G. Corneel. Loving great aunt of Henry and Daniel Stromland. Dear cousin of the Solmitz family. Agnes and her late brother Frederic fled Germany after Kristallnacht in 1938. She graduated North Dallas High School in 1940. Agnes worked as a graphic artist for many years in New York and was an avid gardener and animal lover. The family is grateful for the years of care and the wonderful friends she met at The Falls in Newton. Graveside services at Hand and Hand Cemetery, 2659 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Monday, March 11, at 11:00 am. A memorial service will be held at The Falls at Cordingly Dam, 2300 Washington St., Newton on Monday at 2:30 pm, and memorial observance will be until 5:00 pm Monday.
