Ann Radding, 72, passed away suddenly on April 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eunice Radding of Springfield, MA, and lived most her adult life in New York.
Ann was a graduate of Classical High School and University of Bridgeport, and had an MA from New York University. She was a kindergarten teacher for 10 years, and later an event planner for the Development Corporation for Israel and numerous other charitable organizations. She was an avid skier and volunteer for the Killington Ski Patrol. Ann loved animals, traveled widely, and was a talented potter.
Ann was the widow of John Balan, her life partner whom she married in 2011 after a courtship of 42 years. She is survived by her brothers Robert (Rina) of Sharon, MA, Edward (Linda) of Longmeadow, MA, and Alan (Eva) of Newton, MA, as well as 6 beloved nieces and 9 great nephews and great nieces. Funeral will be on Thursday, April 18, at Temple Reyim, 1860 Washington Street, Newton, at 10 am. Shiva will be observed on Thursday from 3-7 pm at the home of Alan and Eva Radding.
