age 74, of Belmont, MA, died peacefully at home on April 13, 2016. Born December 1, 1941, in New York City, he grew up in the Bronx. He attended Bronx Science High School, received his BA from Columbia University and his PhD from Boston University. He was a gifted psychotherapist who worked at McLean Hospital, maintained a private practice in Cambridge, MA, taught at Harvard Medical School and mentored many students. Arthur was a man of many talents and interests. Creative and possessing a keen intellect, he loved to read and was a passionate photographer, cook, and art collector. Everywhere, people were drawn to him. And he enjoyed a wild sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Ann and Philip Klein, of the Bronx, NY. He is survived by his two sons, Jared and Oliver Klein of Cambridge, MA and Los Angeles, CA, respectively; by daughter-in-law Ciel Wendel, and by grandchildren Mason and Uma Rose. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Summer of Park City, UT. Memorial services will be held at the Highland Meadows Cemetery, 700 Concord Avenue, Belmont on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a gathering will take place at the home of Cynthia Carpenter and Robert Walley at 62 Flett Road in Belmont.
