WORCESTER – Carole (Gold) Calo, PhD, age 63 of 40 High St., Sharon died on Saturday, Feb. 9th in Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital in Boston.
She leaves her husband, Andrew Calo; two sons, Nicholas Calo and Brett Calo of Sharon; a sister, Betty Ann Reck-Caputo wife of Anthony Caputo of Shrewsbury; a nephew, Andrew Reck of Wayland. She was predeceased by her nephew, Joshua Reck.
She was born in Worcester and was a daughter of Ben and Helen (Dentch) Gold and had lived in Sharon for many years.
She was a professor in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Stonehill College in Easton for 22 years and had been The Chairman of this department for over 20 years.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH IN THE MARTIN INSTITUTE OF STONEHILL COLLEGE, 320 WASHINGTON ST., NORTH EASTON, MA UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF BREZNIAK- RODMAN  CHAPEL OF NEWTON.
MEMORIAL OBSERVANCE will be held Tuesday Afternoon, February 12th in Stonehill College.
