Claire (Weissbard) Stoopack

Of Weston, formerly of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, on March 17, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Jerome C. Stoopack. Devoted mother of Michael Landau (Nancy), Dr. Allyn Landau (John McDonald), and Joe Stoopack (Tara Gold). Loving grandmother of David Landau (Melissa), Jeff Landau (Epi), Alyssa Landau, Chelsea Landau, Kylie Burd (Greg), Jaycie Stoopack, and Ben Stoopack.  Cherished great-grandmother of Dillon Landau and Maya Landau. Dear sister of Richard Weissbard (Shelly), Barbara Knee (Ted), and the late Ira Weissbard and his surviving wife, Sheila. Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC at a later date. A memorial gathering will be held at the home of Michael and Nancy Landau, 210 Nahanton St., Newton Centre, Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Claire’s memory may be made to Beth El – The Beaches Synagogue, 288 Roscoe Blvd. N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. She was a founding member of Beth El – The Beaches Synagogue, the Ponte Vedra Beach library, and the National Office of Women’s American Ort.
