Flower, David Jr. Retired attorney, Director of Tax Affairs for The Raytheon Corporation for 40 years, of Wayland formerly of Brookline on February 28, 2008. Beloved Husband of Mary Jane (Hindlian) Flower. Dear son of the late David Flower and Sadie (Cooks) Flower. Devoted brother of the late Bertram A. Flower. Dear cousin of Elinor Rose, David Bergson, Herbert Cooks. Devoted brother in law of Richard Hindlian and his wife Nancy. Dear uncle of Jessica, Sarah and Amanda Hindlian. David graduated Harvard College with a degree in Economics with honors in 1939 and Harvard Law School 1942. He was a Member of Research Institute of America, Chairman of Machinery and Allied Products Institute, The National Association of Manufacturers, Associated Industries of Massachusetts, Tax Committee, and The Tax Education Institute. Services at The Brezniak-Rodman Chapel, 1251 Washington St. (Corner of Chestnut St.) WEST NEWTON on Sunday, March 2 at 12:00 Noon. (Attendant parking on Washington St.) Following the interment at Sharon Memorial Park The family will be at The Westin Hotel of Waltham, 70 Third Ave. Waltham till 4:30 PM Sunday and then at his late residence Monday evening 7-9pm.
