She was the beloved mother of David and Michael, cherished sister of Virginia, doting grandmother of Julia and Pia, and admiring mother-in-law of Gloria. Her son Jonathan, a research biostatistician, predeceased her in 2004. Known to family and friends as Dos, she was a bright, multi-talented woman whose creativity inspired those around her, including many surviving nieces and nephews and new generations of cousins and friends.
