Dr. Joseph Mayer,of  McIndoe Falls,VT,on  January 31, 2013.Beloved husband of Rebecca.Devoted father of Helene Mayer and her husband Ken,Sherri Swiman and her husband Rick,Beth Mayer and her husband Rob and Pamela Mayer.Dear grandfather of  Zachary,Matthew,Adam,Joshua,Noah,Ilana,Zoe,Aden, Miah and Henry.Dear brother of the late Blanche Steiner.Services at  The Newton Cemetery Chapel, 791 Walnut St. Newton on Monday February 4, at 11:00  am. Following the interment at Newton Cemetery, family and friends are invited to the residence of  Sherri and Rick Swiman from 2-8pm Monday only.In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Multi Service Eating Disorders Assoc., 92 Pearl St. Newton,MA 02458 (Medainc.org)
