Dr. Norman Paul

Paul-Norman, MD,of  Concord formerly of Lexington, on October 15 , 2011. Beloved Husband of Janet (Athos) Paul and the late Betty (Byfield) Paul.Devoted father of Marilyn Paul and her husband  David Peter Stroh of Brookline and David Paul and his wife Kathy Schultz of Berkeley,CA. Devoted stepfather of Lynn Mansmann,and Michael, Patrick, Amy, Kathryn,Joseph and Margaret MeLampy,and Mary Archibald. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Delores Rogers. Dr. Paul was a founder of The American Family Therapy Assoc. and The Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry. Dr. Paul received many distinguished service awards in appreciation of his commitment to the field of family therapy. He was the author of “A Marital Puzzle” with his first wife Betty Byfield Paul. Dr. Paul had a long term affiliation with Harvard Medical School. Services will be held at The Bigelow Chapel at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn St. Cambridge on Monday  October 17 at 1:30 pm. Following interment the family will be at the home of Marilyn Paul and David Peter Stroh Monday till 6:00 pm,Tuesday 3-7 pm and Wednesday 4-7 pm.In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to The University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Services, University of Buffalo Foundation, PO Box 730, Buffalo, NY 14226
