WANGER, Dr. Stephen Lewis Age 76, of Brookline, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at The Lahey Clinic, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for over 52 years of Nancy Kushlan Wanger. Adored father of David K. Wanger and his wife Dr. Gwen F. Kane-Wanger of Waban and Betsy K. Wanger and her husband Steven A. Steinbach of Washington, D.C. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Daniel and Benjamin Wanger and David and Alison Steinbach. Dear brother of E. David Wanger and his wife Amy of South Hamilton and uncle to their children Sarah and Nicholas. Dear brother-in-law of David Kushlan of Farmington, CT. Devoted son of the late Ann Silver Wanger and the late Honorable David Wanger of Albany, NY. Revered son-in-law of Ethel Ross Kushlan and the late Samuel Kushlan, M.D. of New Haven, CT. Was a venerated neurologist, engaging colleague and inspiring teacher of new physicians at The Lahey Clinic for 42 years. Burial and the period of mourning will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date
