Loving father of Sheryl and Robert Barkan of Bedford, Marcia and Jason Bovarnick of Medfield, and Richard and Marcy Raskind of Needham. Adored Grampy of Laurel and Michael Barkan, Mitchell and Ross Bovarnick, and Alyssa and Alexander Raskind. Fun-loving brother-in-law of Marian and Dr. Howard Jewell of Tinton Falls, NJ and Gail and Frank Jablonski of Levittown, PA. The family sincerely thanks caregivers Vickie Falcon and Marie Julien for their support. Services at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Avenue, Needham, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham Street, Sharon. Memorial observance will be at the home of Richard and Marcy Raskind on Tuesday until 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday  2-4 & 7-9 pm.
