Edwin (Ted) Solon Harwood

Edwin (Ted) Solon Harwood, 82, died on June 7 after a short illness. He was the loving partner of Alice (Chester) Schwartz, the father of Dr. Bryna Harwood (Sidney Manansala), Alexander Harwood, and Abigail Harwood (Daniel Hensley), grandfather of Max and Robin Manansala and Willa Hensley, and brother of Cynthia Harwood.

Ted graduated from Stanford University, served three years in the U.S. Army, and earned a doctorate in sociology from The University of Chicago. He taught college sociology for more than 20 years. After leaving teaching he developed a communications and writing consulting practice.
