Ethel D. (Bernstein) Yarrish

Ethel D.(Bernstein) Yarrish-of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain, on April 3,2019. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Yarrish. Born and raised in Quincy, she was the devoted daughter of the late Max and Sarah Bernstein. Loving sister of Eleanor Cohen and her late husband Norman, the late Pearl Fine, and Morton George Bernstein z”l and his surviving wife Mimi Bernstein. Dear aunt of Sandi Dunn and her husband Irving, Donna Teasdale and her husband Michael, Lori Cohen and her husband Ken, Moshe Bernstein and his wife Batsheva, Donald Bernstein and his wife Renee, Ted Bernstein and his wife Lorri, and Julie Young. Also survived by many great -nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews. Ethel was the long-time manager of The Boston office of Israel Bonds. Services at The Wilson Chapel, 234 Herrick Rd. Newton, on Friday April 5, 2019 at 9:00 am. Following interment at Quincy Hebrew Cemetery, Baker St., West Roxbury, memorial observance will be held in the Beal Chapel at Newbridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Rd.,Dedham until 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers remembrances to Alyn Hospital, Shmaryahu Levin St. 84,Jerusalem, Israel. The Alyn Hospital is a comprehensive rehabilitation center for physically challenged and disabled children,adolescents and young adults.
