Eugene M. Freedman

Eugene Maynard Freedman- formerly of Weston, MA, and Boca Raton, FL, died September 15, 2015 at Hebrew Senior Life in Boston, MA, surrounded by his beloved family. He was the devoted husband of Myrna (Herscot) Freedman for more than 50 years; the much loved father of Deborah Freedman Belt and Erik Paul Belt, Richard Andrew Freedman and Hope Ellen Rubin, Elizabeth Caryn Freedman and Robert Lyle Hammer, and adored grandfather of Halley Rose Belt, Olivia Danielle Belt, Emily Alyse Belt, Jason Henry Freedman, Dana Justine Freedman and Scarlett Dorothy Hammer. He was the son of the late Daniel and Eva Freedman, of Worcester, MA. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley, on Thursday, September  17, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Following interment at Beit Olam Cemetery, Wayland, memorial observance will be at the home of Debby and Erik Belt until  7:00 pm and will continue on Friday 1:00 -5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Freedman’s memory may be made to Combined Jewish Philanthropies, 126 High St.,Boston, MA  02110 or Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd.,Wellesley, MA 02481.
